Common applications for leather welder gloves include: welding and heat applications,
plus all general-purpose applications requiring heat, flame or spark protection.
To select the correct glove, you must understand the types of heat:
- Radiant - Generated by a source of fire or the sun
- Ambient - The surrounding atmospheric temperature
- Conductive - Direct contact with hot surfaces
Also check for:
- Weight - of items being handled
- Temperature - contact temperature
- Time - duration of exposure
