In recent field tests at a construction site, Sasquatch® gloves lasted over 30 days compared to standard leather palm gloves that lasted less than a week. The reason for such long wear is the ANSI Abrasion 6 material used and the fact that they are stitched with aramid fiber, ensuring the seams don't split and break out.

- 1711, found in our Big Jake® series, is constructed with premium leather and sewn with DuPont™ Kevlar®. Two layers of side-split cowhide are found in the palm, providing the wearer with double protection. 1711 achieves the highest ANSI performance scores for abrasion and contact heat protection.

5049 disposable latex gloves are 11 millimeters thick, two times the thickness of our top-selling 5055 gloves that come in at 5 millimeters. The 5049 is also 12 inches long, providing the user with an additional 2.5 inches in length. Users tend to opt for a heavy-duty disposable glove to ensure they still have some flexibility when handling objects.

Extra Thick Rubber
Do you need a thicker rubber glove? The unlined 5500 series boasts a 50-millimeter thickness that provides an excellent solution for the food industry. These are considered a canner's glove, and they have a raised Z pattern to provide additional gripping power and strength. If 50 mil is too thick, consider looking at the 5110, which is only 18 millimeters thick.
Butyl rubber gloves are considered by many to be the most heavy-duty chemical glove available for general industrial applications. The solution-dipping process means that these gloves have a tight molecular structure that creates chemical impermeability. Because of these characteristics, butyl gloves have heavy-duty permeation resistance to most acids, aldehydes, alcohols, amides, bases, esters, and ketones.

A neoprene polymer resists degradation better than most polymers, and it is considered the best chemical glove to balance cost and performance. Below are three heavy-duty styles showcased by the number of neoprene dips used.
The 6932 model gives the wearer protection in countless situations! These gloves are 12 inches long and are dipped multiple times with rugged black neoprene. This multiple-dip allows the glove to achieve an ANSI contact heat level 5 score and an EN 437 Permeation A chemical rating.
Our 6962 features two layers of rugged neoprene, providing wearers with one of our best chemical-resistant glove options. It is double-dipped, black over blue, providing users with a built-in wear indicator for replacing the gloves! Its sandy textured finish is also ideal for environments that involve abrasive objects.
Waterproof and Heat-Resistant
The 6944 neoprene Black Jack glove is foam-lined for insulation, making it comfortable to wear. The foam lining also provides users with an ANSI contact heat rating of Level 5, ensuring protection for applications up to 608°F.

Nitrile gloves offer a one-two punch by providing both abrasion and puncture protection. Most nitrile styles will offer users three times better puncture-resistant properties compared to a latex polymer. It is also the go-to polymer glove when oil is involved, as the grip outperforms all other polymers.
