On the following pages you will find permeation data for several of our supported and unsupported gloves. This guide will be updated periodically with new chemicals and glove styles.
The chemical permeation of our gloves is measured in accordance to European Standard EN374. The Breakthrough Time (BTT) is the time it takes a chemical to establish a permeation rate of one milligram per square meter, per minute through the protective coating. The Breakthrough (BTT) time is given in minutes and as a permeation class according to the following index table.
The glove with the highest class offers the best chemical resistance to the test chemical. A class of "0" means the Breakthrough time is less than or equal to 10 minutes.
The results herein are obtained under controlled laboratory conditions and are for guidance only.
