Buffalo leather offers excellent abrasion and puncture resistance and is very durable and rugged
The MCR Safety 3313 glove features CV Grade Buffalo Grain hide. Buffalo hide leather provides excellent abrasion resistance, excellent dexterity, and is good with low heat applications. The 3313 features a keystone thumb for greater flexibility and reduces hand fatigue and the shirred elastic back offers enhanced fit and safety.
Buffalo leather is known for its strength and durability. It has outstanding abrasion resistance and resists punctures more so than some other types of leather.
ANSI Contact Heat
For applications less than 284 degrees Fahrenheit.
ANSI/ISEA 105:2016 Standard, ASTM F1060 - 18 Standard Test Method for Evaluation of Conductive and Compressive Heat Resistance. Conductive heat ratings measure the highest contact temperature for which the time to second-degree burn is at least 15 seconds and the alarm time is at least four seconds.
