Details

This MCR Safety Welding option is made of premium grain goatskin. This supple leather contains natural lanolin that helps create a very soft feel. Characteristics include strongest tensile strength and excellent tactile sensitivity. Best combination of flexibility and comfort. The 48406 is an unlined Mig/Tig glove with a 5 Inch russet split cowskin cuff for additional safety. It is sewn with DuPont Kevlar®, has a keystone thumb and a self-hem sewn cuff. The TPR back offers excellent impact resistance on the fingers and back of the hand.

Goatskin - Proven to be very strong leather with great tensile strength.  Goatskin also has a natural lanolin content that keeps gloves and hands soft.  Provides greater tactile sensitivity.

ANSI/ISEA 105:2016 Standard, ASTM F1060 - 18 Standard Test Method for Evaluation of Conductive and Compressive Heat Resistance.  Conductive heat ratings measure the highest contact temperature for which the time to second-degree burn is at least 15 seconds and the alarm time is at least four seconds.
