This glove option gives you all of the benefits of our NXG series, but with the addition of Thermal protection! The 9690Y is made of a 100% high visibility acrylic string knit shell that will add warmth and comfort.  The blue latex coating will give excellent gripping power and added abrasion resistance. Get a grip on being seen and staying warm with the 9690Y!

CE Contact Cold


Level 1 Protection

EN511 is a standard for testing and rating cold protective gloves.  Resistance to Contact Cold is based on the thermal resistance of the glove material when exposed to contact with a cold object.   Level 0 offers the least protection while level 4 offers the most protection.

Gauge


Knitted Gloves are made with yarn that range from 7 gauge to 18 gauge.  The lower the gauge of a yarn the thicker the glove will be.  The higher the yarn’s gauge the thinner the glove will be, which allows for ultimate dexterity.

ANSI Contact Heat


Level 4

For applications less than 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

ANSI/ISEA 105:2016 Standard, ASTM F1060 - 18 Standard Test Method for Evaluation of Conductive and Compressive Heat Resistance.  Conductive heat ratings measure the highest contact temperature for which the time to second-degree burn is at least 15 seconds and the alarm time is at least four seconds.
