Kevlar® string knit gloves are used for general purpose work applications to provide cut and abrasion resistance, using high performance yarns, to further protect the hands when working with sharp objects. Various material weights provide longer durability or additional dexterity where needed. The 9370 features a 7 gauge regular weight 100% Dupont™ Kevlar® string knit material. It has a plain shell.

Gauge


Knitted Gloves are made with yarn that range from 7 gauge to 18 gauge.  The lower the gauge of a yarn the thicker the glove will be.  The higher the yarn’s gauge the thinner the glove will be, which allows for ultimate dexterity.

Material


Kevlar® is the original gold standard in cut protection. Ideal for applications requiring cut and heat protection in one. Patented Kevlar® engineered yarns combine cut-resistant soft-spun Kevlar® materials, high-strength inorganic yarns and elastic stretch-core yarns to deliver the best balance of protection and comfort.

Level 3

For applications less than 392 degrees Fahrenheit.

ANSI/ISEA 105:2016 Standard, ASTM F1060 - 18 Standard Test Method for Evaluation of Conductive and Compressive Heat Resistance.  Conductive heat ratings measure the highest contact temperature for which the time to second-degree burn is at least 15 seconds and the alarm time is at least four seconds.
