Construction

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are over six million workers involved in the construction industry. These workers cover a wide range of activities, ranging from carpenters remodeling homes, to plumbers installing new pipe, all the way to your roadway workers erecting a new bridge. Most all of these workers face day-to-day safety hazards that can potentially cause personal injury.  In 2014 alone, according to the BLS, there were over 73,000 construction related injuries. For peace of mind, workers want PPE they can count on protecting them from the hazards and elements.

With construction conditions producing thousands of injuries, workers turn to MCR Safety for premier PPE, for recommendations and ultimately for guidance. Due to 40 years of protecting construction workers, we know the hazards faced. So much so, that we have broken down the construction industry into the six distinct sub-sectors – Carpentry, Concrete, Electrical, Highway, HVAC, and Roofing. We know that each sector includes unique hazards that not everyone in construction faces.

Case in point, the concrete industry is well known to cause cement burns carpenters will most likely never face. So, we have made this page user friendly by outlining each sector’s unique hazard and then providing recommendations for protecting you! We know your life is important and there is no time to waste in keeping you safe.

In the event we do not cover your unique hazard, we look to you for telling us. Feel free to drop us some feedback at the bottom of this page. If you are wishing to have direct consultation, we can assist there too! All you have to do is provide some information below and we will have a trained 360 Safety Specialist contact you.   We protect people!
